Gorillaz Go Live—and Tease New Music—for 25th Anniversary

To mark their 25th anniversary, Gorillaz are doing more than dusting off old hits—they're opening the vault. Running now through September 3, the band’s free “House of Kong” exhibition at London’s Copper Box Arena offers a rare glimpse into their visual legacy, creative process, and cultural impact. Expect archival art, unreleased content, and—according to fan whispers—teasers of new music.

The celebration peaks with four intimate live shows, each spotlighting a full-album performance: Gorillaz (Aug 29), Demon Days (Aug 30), and Plastic Beach (Sep 2). But it’s the final night, Sept 3’s “Mystery Show,” that’s raising eyebrows. In a recent interview, Damon Albarn hinted it might debut material from the band’s next album, due in 2025. For fans, it's part retrospective, part treasure hunt—and possibly the first listen to what’s next.

🫶 Artists Doing Good

Chris Brown Surprises 13-Year-Old Fan With $10K, Gifts Her Mom a New Car

At a recent stop on Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX tour, the singer partnered with influencer MD Motivator, his daughter Royalty, and the social impact platform Onefluent to deliver a major surprise to a young fan and her mother.

During the event, MD Motivator walked through the crowd asking, “Who’s the biggest Chris Brown fan?” Thirteen-year-old Gabby responded confidently, catching his attention. She was excited to meet Royalty, and the two took a photo together. Gabby shared that she wanted to become a sports medicine doctor and, in her words, to “find genuine love because this generation is crazy.”

Shortly after, Dereniowski offered Gabby’s mom the chance to buy two “mystery tickets” for $5. She accepted. Instead of tickets, she was handed a Breezy Bowl containing $10,000 in cash.

Later, Gabby and her mom were invited backstage after the show. Chris Brown and Dereniowski led them, blindfolded, down a path to another surprise: a brand-new car. During an emotional conversation, Gabby said that Chris had influenced her entire dance career and told him, “I grew up dancing to you. You’re such an inspiration to me. I love you so much.”

When Chris asked Gabby’s mom what her dream was, she answered, “Just to be happy.” Gabby praised her mother as a strong single parent who taught her to stand up for herself. She added that her mom deserved everything good coming her way.

The night came just before both of their birthdays and was captured in a video shared online. Gabby and her mom called it the best night of their lives.

Chris Brown – Breezy Bowl XX Stadium Tour (Hot Ticket)

Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX tour is currently packing stadiums across Europe and North America through mid-October, and his August 12 stop at MetLife Stadium proved why it’s one of the hottest tickets of 2025. Suspended by cables, Brown flew over the crowd during “Look at Me Now,” danced through decades of hits, and delivered a high-octane visual spectacle filled with pyrotechnics, choreography, and fan-favorite theatrics. While vocals occasionally leaned on backing tracks, the show’s scale and energy left no doubt: Breezy knows how to fill a stadium. Summer Walker and Bryson Tiller round out the bill for the rest of the run.
